Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how EDXAD LLC (Delaware File Number 3503122), operating the OuiSite service, 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, DE 19901, USA (“OuiSite,” “we,” “us”), collects and uses personal information. Contact: [email protected].

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, under contract and for the purposes above:

Temporary addresses. A site you have not paid for is put online at a temporary address for fourteen days, then removed automatically along with everything it contained.

Websites you generate without buying. When you describe a business and we build a site for it, we keep that first result — the description you gave, the details it contained, and the site we produced — for twelve months, whether or not you go on to pay. We use it to improve the service, and to come back to you with a better version of the site. If you would rather we did not keep it, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, except through the advertising tag described in Section 5, which is present only on our partner sign-up page.

International transfers. These providers are established in the United States. Where we transfer personal data of EU or UK residents to them, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the provider’s certification under an approved framework where applicable.

5. Cookies

On most of our pages we use only strictly necessary cookies: a cookie that supports our affiliate referral program (so referrals are attributed correctly) and cookies required for the basic operation and security of the site. Because these cookies are necessary to provide the service, we display a short notice with an “OK” acknowledgement rather than a consent choice.

One page is an exception. Our partner sign-up page at /partners.html carries an advertising tag from PropellerAds, which fires when a partner account is created so that we can measure our recruitment campaigns. That tag may set cookies and share identifiers with that provider for advertising purposes. It is present on that page only, and on no page a customer needs to visit.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. We retain billing, transaction, and tax records for up to seven (7) years to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your US privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws in other states), you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; access or delete your information; correct inaccuracies; and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share your personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. EU/UK visitors (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA or the UK, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. The legal bases we rely on include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations. Because we are based in the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country; by using the Services, you understand that this transfer takes place. To exercise any right, email [email protected].

10. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted here, with an updated “Last updated” date.
